Check out the fabulous Los Angeles subway system! (that doesn't actually exist!)

This is a fantasy map (to get a larger image paste this into your browser: thetransitcoalition.us/ConNP01.htm) produced by The Transit Coalition, a dedicated group of freaks who think we should have decent public transportation in Los Angeles. Keep dreaming, freaks!

Just like Kansas City. We just passed a light rail bill in Nov.(took 5 times). Now it just has to be built. I think it will be done in about 200 years.

Yeah, 200 years if you're lucky!

Opponents of subway and light rail say we shouldn't be spending money on 20th-century technology. Instead, we should be concentrating on the transporation of the future. And what is this fabulous new technology? Transporters? People movers? No; it's the bus!

In Minnesota, they (finally) built a light rail, it was completed a few years ago and with the high gas prices, its attained 28,000 riders a day which was it's 2020 goal. They wanted make it bigger but opponents said no one would ride it. Idiots.
